Summary |
This seminar will detail the procedures for the selection of appropriate safety measures after the completion of a Preliminary Hazard Analysis for an industrial machine. The first day of the program will cover the scope and task of risk reduction per EN 292, along with samples of risk reduction measures and methods from the pertinent standards for guards, interlocks, warning labels and the design of full-body access points. The instructor will reference most definitions from ENV 1070, EN 292-1, and EN 953. The second day of the seminar will involve a team-based; "hands-on" review of a machine with follow-up team presentations and discussion. |
