Summary 
This course covers describes several steps and processes that relate to equipment safety concerns that apply to the semiconductor industry. The curricula provides an understanding of common approaches to equipment safety evaluations used for SEMI S2-93(a) along with an overview of the important aspects of the new Guideline SEMI S2-0200 and its differences to SEMI S2-93(a). Participants will become familiar with the basic concepts of hazard analysis and risk management most frequently used in the industry ("What if", HazOPs, FMEA...) and how these concepts integrate with SEMI S2 and EN 1050. The course will review the content of a SEMI S2-93(a) report, who should receive the report, and how to use and process the report once it has been received.
