Summary 
This course will give the participant an in-depth understanding of SEMI S8-95,and the SEMI S8-95 guidelines that pertain to ergonomic and human factor concerns in relation to equipment production and user/employee workspace. The curricula covers: the SEMI S8-95 "Safety Guidelines for Ergonomic/Human factors, workstation design as related to anthropometry, primary viewing areas, exposure to sharp edges, the neutral posture, seated and standing workstations; lifting, strength and materials handling analysis, and wafer handling guidelines, designing for maintainability, awareness of the facilities interface as it relates to safety, and the appropriate design of controls, displays, and user-computer interface.
