Summary |
This seminar will provide an overview of EN 60204-1, the comprehensive standard for electrical safety of machinery, along with practical suggestions in conducting a preliminary safety evaluation. The course will summarize European (and international) expectations for protection against fire and shock compared to US practices as detailed in NFPA 79, including differences in circuit protection, wire-coloring, schematic nomenclature and documentation. The program will walk participants through a sample evaluation and conformity action plan. |
