The State Administration of the People's Republic of China for Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine "AQSIQ" and The China Certification and Accreditation Administration "CNCA" are responsible for product certification in mainland China.

China's Safety Mark is called CCC and replaced previous marks issued by defunct Chinese Agencies. China's Compulsory Product Certification Scheme "CPCS" went into full effect on August 1st, 2003.
