The People's Republic of China has formally announced new regulations affecting electronic waste and product quality, under the formal document "Administrative Measures on the Control of Pollution Caused by Electronic Information Products" |

The administrative document summarizes three pieces of legislation: |
|||
|
1) Law of the People's Republic of China on Promotion of Clean Production -
Referred to as, " Clean Production Promotion Law" Referred to as, " Solid Waste Prevention and Control Law" |
|||
3) Law of the People's Republic of China on Product Quality - Referred to as, " Product Quality Law" |
