Leveraging SIMCOM’s Status in…The People’s Republic of China

SIMCOM International entered the Chinese market in 1998. The Company maintains offices and personnel in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Hangzhou and Nanjing.

SIMCOM is renowned for its China expertise and in 2000, was named the western hemisphere’s first Consultative Agent by the Chinese government. Over a nine-year period, SIMCOM has developed strong relationships with every major Chinese governmental agency holding decision-making control over imported products. SIMCOM’s status with China’s Certification and Accreditation Administration (CNCA) provides SIMCOM with advance notification of new regulations affecting product importation.

In 2000 and 2002, SIMCOM was the Official US Host of the senior delegation from CNCA. CNCA is responsible for all primary product certification schemes in PR China. SIMCOM is the only Agent with status for US and Chinese operations.

SIMCOM’s Connectivity to China’s Manufacturing and Distribution Regions 

SIMCOM’s Joint Ventures with China’s leading export support organizations provides service promotion and credibility via governmental programs directed to China’s domestic manufacturers.

SIMCOM has co-marketing agreements with two, quasi-governmental export centers located in Shenzhen and Hangzhou. Each has been accredited by the WTO and act as Official WTO Information Centers. In addition to the support received from the local and provincial governments to support export trade, the Centers have sub-agreements with four other locations in: Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu and Qingdao. Together, the six centers are the primary export information centers to 80% of China’s manufacturing base.
